On Thursday, Google updated its Google Voice apps for Android--our hands-down winner--and BlackBerry, the runner up. (If you must know, we declared the iPhone experience to be "a load of crap.")
A modest enhancement to Google Voice on Android and BlackBerry tweaks the back-end calling mechanism to make dialing a faster process when you call out. Though there's no real change to the feature set on the front end, Google says that callers should notice quicker connection times.
Calls took longer to place through the previous apps because the software needed to request an access number from the Google Voice server before achieving a ringtone. Google has cut out a few steps in the process it's now calling "Direct Access Numbers" by assigning a particular phone number to each person you call. This skips the load required by your phone's data network to communicate with Google's server, Google explained on its blog.

To make matters worse, Apple blocked people from rolling back the operating system to the days it actually worked.
Agius said that Apple made a bad choice by releasing iOS 4 for the 3G without checking it properly.
The MacTalk forums are seeing large numbers of iPhone 3G owners complaining about the update.
"I'm so pissed off with Apple, my phone was perfect before the update and now I want to smash it," wrote one user.

"It looks like the iPhone 4 might be their Vista, and I'm okay with that," he said, which we imagine he really is, given he's working for Apple's long-term bitter rival. If the iPhone 4 was as unsuccessful as Vista it could spell doom for Apple, considering Google is already poised to steal its smartphone crown.
Microsoft is also hoping to steal some of Apple's market share. "One of the things I want to make sure you know today is that you're going to be able to use a Windows Phone 7 and not have to worry about how you're holding it to make a phone call," Turner said, referring to the fact that iPhone 4 users were losing their signal, even to the point of ending a call, when holding it in a variety of ways.
Microsoft is obviously keen to benefit from Apple's misfortune in this regard by promising a phone that can be held in multiple ways without affecting signal, similar to Nokia's clever parody which showed the many methods of holding a Nokia phone.
In typical Jobsian dismissal, the Apple CEO classified the problem as a "non-issue", urging users to hold the phone in a different way or buy a case for it, which amounted to having to pay more to have the working phone you already paid for. Apple income jumps on iPhone, iPad sales
Apple said it sold about 3.3 million iPads in April through June, the gadget's first three months on the market.
iPhone unit sales rose 61 per cent, with a boost at the end of the quarter from the launch of the iPhone 4.
Apple's net income jumped to $US3.25 billion ($3.74 billion) from $US1.8 billion ($2.07 billion) a year ago.
Revenue increased 61 per cent to $US15.7 billion, from $US9.7 billion last year.
That was better than Wall Street expected.
Analysts surveyed by Thomson Reuters had forecast revenue of $US14.7 billion.

Okay, after three days I feel 'Ipad Experience' is now time for me to spill my opinion
of apple this revolutionary product,
First Impression
The first time I opened the packaging ipad and held that crossed my mind at that time
